reno #1Reno#1 Reno#2 Reno#3 Reno#4 Bathrooms Kitchens This elaborately decorated and masterfully renovated main floor family room was originally a very dark main floor bedroom. The original room offered no access to the newly landscaped backyard, which consists of among many new things, a stone patio and beautiful rose garden. To alleviate this, two crisp white French doors were added to enhance the light level of the room and allow access to the backyard. In between the two French doors, a zero clearance fireplace was added with a plaster mantle and decorative crown molding. It makes a fine centerpiece in the wonderfully redesigned space. The master bedroom utilizes a very simple decorative division in the form of an archway without disturbing the essence of the open space to divide the master bedroom from its elegant sitting room and fireplace found adjacent to it. The archway consists of an ornamental plaster column that accents beautifully the window frames, floor and ceiling borders. This magnificent house encompasses both the old and new. Modern enhancements include sound proofing and network wiring for full automation to bring it up to date and anticipate new advances in home automation. The center hall was restored and duplicated with its original oak woodwork from circa 1920. A new third floor landing and staircase were added to the interior of this house. The new staircase and handrails as well as the wainscoting were duplicated to compliment the original rich and wonderfully handcrafted woodwork. These very decorative window trims were added to accent the other detailed decor found throughout the home. All the window trims were custom machined to match the circa 1920's moldings. In the kitchen area granite windowsills were also used to compliment the countertops. The original window openings were enlarged to create space for the French door system to be added in the kitchen. The new doors allow for main floor access to the wonderfully landscaped backyard and in ground pool. This fabulously designed unique little space is the third floor bathroom. Encompassed in its space is an authentic cast iron tub centered under the newly added eyebrow dormer. The highlight of this delightful room is the masterfully curved ceiling allowing complete privacy with full natural sunlight.
