Renovation Technician

We are currently in need of a full-time renovation technician to start immediately. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Interior Renovation tasks include but is not limited to:

  • Demolition

  • Framing

  • Insulation

  • Drywall installation

  • Tiling

  • Flooring (Hardwood, Laminate, Engineered Hardwood)

  • Trim and Moulding

  • Carpentry work

Exterior Renovation tasks include but is not limited to:

  • Demolition

  • Structural work

  • Fencing

  • Decking

  • Landscaping

General Labour tasks include but is not limited to:

  • Site clean up

  • Loading, unloading and moving of material to different areas of the work site

  • Removal of rubble and debris from the site

  • Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe

  • Work productively within a crew

  • Take direction from crew foreman

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma

  • College level renovation technician certificate is a plus

  • Ontario G-class license with clean abstract

  • Working at Heights Training Certificate

  • Familiar with the use of basic and power tools

  • ability to understand and execute instructions required on job site

  • ability to work in a physically demanding environment in varied conditions

  • demonstrated ability to learn and apply new and innovative techniques

  • Interior experience in Residential Renovation

  • Weight Handling: Up to 10 kg (25 lbs)

Required experience

  • Construction Labourer: 2+ years

Compensation: $18.00 to $24.00/hour based on experience.
